Artist's Comments

Various horses acting fresh on the hot walker, taken at a cutting horse facility.

I know that these shots aren't fantastic for stock use (halters & lead ropes in the way, missing legs, etc).. but hey.. that's what photoshop is for! Some of these poses were too good to not upload :)

Are you kidding me?!

The horse is playing on the hot walker (biting her lead rope and bouncing all over the place).

This mare is an extremely well cared for show horse. Please educate yourself before making accusations.

I am certainly not an "expert," but I have been very involved with horses, and I can tell the difference between a fresh horse on a hot walker and cruelty.

If you have no clue what you're talking about, please don't make accusations. You have no argument, you simply stated that this "looks like cruelty."

You need to realize that when you make an accusation like this, you are negatively impacting myself as the photographer, as well as this horse's owner & trainer.

Haha... she looks like she was having fun! XD

Great shot! All of these recently uploaded stock photos will be excellent photomanipulation material. ^^

I was like a kid in a candy store when all the horses started bucking, rearing and striking. I grabbed my camera & started shooting!

I hope you enjoy them!! :D
:iconcorruptangel315:
lol I'll bet! :D I probably would've done the same thing if I was in your situation. XD

Love the shots:) They are having fun, as for the previous comment it's not harming the horses in any way it's a way to get them exercise just like a person walking on a treadmill. There is no strain or hurt for the horses and the bucking and rearing just means they feel good and want to show off.
I put my mare on a walker once she caused it to lock up, she just stood there and glared at me..LOL To be fair to her she was 29 at the time and way to old for what she felt was something you do to a green horse. She hates to lunge too, LOL she feels it's beneath her:)
